At New Vistas in Education Foundation, we want to help children who face serious obstacles to learning, especially underserved children and those with special needs.
We believe that literacy is the most important foundational skill for children to develop in order to achieve their potential and to lead future generations into a productive, innovative, and socially just world.

We believe that child-driven learning has many positive outcomes: It encourages and builds autonomy for the student while providing teachers and mentors valuable time to help struggling students.
We also believe that technology can be utilized to deliver learning systems that are scalable and effective. Teachers have risen to the challenge of COVID-19 by successfully delivering online learning. However, teachers’ needs are clear—they need experienced academic designers to create the right set of tools for the right audience.
We believe that it is time for a new model of education for those who are most in need, in urban centers and rural communities, in the U.S., and worldwide.
We believe that all children deserve access to the quality education that they need to succeed. We can do this. We know how to do this. We are New Vistas in Education, a nonprofit with a real vision for how to improve America’s educational future.
